1. Scope
These Terms govern your use of HafodHost’s website, domain registration, and hosting/services packages. By ordering you agree to these Terms and any service‑specific policies referenced here.
2. Accounts
You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately about unauthorised use.
3. Orders, Pricing & Payment
Prices are shown before checkout and may change. Any VAT is included in the price. We use secure payment processors (Stripe); you authorise us to take payment for initial terms and renewals you enable. Invoices are available in your account.
4. Domain Registration
4.1 We register domains via accredited registrars and registries. You are the registrant. Registry rules form part of your contract.
4.2 Registrant data: You must provide accurate contact details and keep them up to date. We may suspend or cancel domains if data is inaccurate or we cannot validate ownership.
4.3 WHOIS privacy / ID protection: When available for your TLD, we can enable privacy to redact public contact info. Some ccTLDs (including .UK) are handled by the registry’s own publication rules rather than a third‑party privacy service.
4.4 Renewals: You can enable auto‑renew. We’ll send reminders to your account email before expiry. If a domain expires, you may lose it; recovery can incur registry redemption fees.
4.5 Transfers: You can transfer domains in/out subject to registry rules and any outstanding invoices/holds.
4.6 Cancellations & refunds: Domain registrations, renewals and transfers are custom services and are non‑refundable once submitted to a registry, except where required by law.
5. Hosting & Email (if purchased)
We’ll provision services as described on the product page. Some features depend on third‑party infrastructure. Fair use and Acceptable Use Policy apply.
6. Acceptable Use
No abuse, spam, malware, phishing, infringing or illegal content/activity. We may suspend service to protect networks or comply with law.
7. Support
We provide email support during posted hours. We may ask you to validate identity before making material changes.
8. Liability
We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim relating to paid services is limited to the fees paid for the affected service in the 12 months prior to the claim. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms or policies to reflect legal or operational changes. Material changes will be notified in advance where practicable.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
